Spring length should determine your safety pad width.

If your springs (when off of your trampoline) measure 5.5"inch to 7"inch, hook to hook, then you will want a 10"inch wide pad.

If your springs (when off of your trampoline) measure 8.5" inch or longer, then you will want a 12"inch wide pad.
